Message from Pr. Cipriano

CHRIST, OUR LORD, IS TRULY RISEN. ALLELUIA

The alleluia resounds again in all our churches. Church bells can again ring out their song over towns and cities.

Easter is the feast of life, the life of Jesus, as He rose from the dead. Today we celebrate life and we thank God because in Jesus a new risen life has begun for us and a new dawn has come for the world.

Our Lord Jesus “was raised to life, the first fruits of the harvest of the dead. For since it was a man who brought death into the world, a man also brought resurrection of the dead. As in Adam all men die, so in Christ all will be brought to life” (1 Corinthians 15, 20-22). Praised be our Lord Jesus Christ!

Jesus, our Lord, went through suffering and death for us, and all looked lost, all seemed in vain, but He rose from the dead. By the power of Jesus we too can rise to new life, to a feast of everlasting joy. Jesus, our Lord, died for our sins and rose for our life.

All things belong to God, but the world and everything in it can be ruined by man’s greed. Men leave pollution and desolation behind them in their search for money; they leave misery and hurt in their search for power.

Christians have to bring life to our world: it must be a risen world in which there is joy, not fear, where justice and love triumph.

Let us pray... God of all life, take away all sadness and doubt from us, and help us to believe in life, now that your Son Jesus Christ is risen. Make us see Him raised up and alive, walking with us on the road of life. Amen

A Happy Easter to everybody.
